The longest video I’ve seen with Veo 3.1 is 8 seconds.
Veo 3.1 generates videos between 5 to 10 seconds.
But by extending scenes with Veo 3.1, you can make much longer videos.
My Real Testing Results With Veo 3.1
Let me be honest about my Veo 3.1 testing results.
I’m not going to say Veo 3.1 is amazing.
Veo 3.1 doesn’t blow my mind to be honest.
I tested dragon videos with Veo 3.1.
They were still a little bit grainy.
I tested samurai videos with Veo 3.1.
They looked slightly better but weird.
It’s weird how characters in Veo 3.1 videos just stop doing anything.
You’d want them to keep carrying on with Veo 3.1.
I tested a Pikachu mafia video with Veo 3.1.
That one was pretty cool with Veo 3.1.
I tested the grandma go karting video with Veo 3.1.
That looked better with Veo 3.1.
Overall, I’ve seen better stuff from Sora 2 than Veo 3.1.
But Sora 2 isn’t accessible globally like Veo 3.1.
Veo 3.1 has promise.
I just think you need really good prompts with Veo 3.1.
Veo 3.1 vs Sora 2 Real Comparison
I saw a comparison on Twitter between Veo 3.1 and Sora 2.
Someone posted Sora 2 on the right versus Veo 3.1.
Sora 2 is way more realistic than Veo 3.1.
The video from Sora 2 looks and feels real.
The filters and colors on Sora 2 look like someone filmed it on their iPhone.
That’s what people want from AI video tools.

Accessing Sora 2 Outside US
If you want to access Sora 2 outside UK and Canada, there’s a way.
You can get access to Sora 2 inside Qeexo.

You can plug prompts into Sora 2 there.
You can choose to remove the watermark from Sora 2 videos.
Then you can generate videos with Sora 2.
The only thing I found with Sora 2 is it breaks sometimes.
But you can compare outputs of Sora 2 versus Veo 3.1.
I tested the same prompt on both tools.
Sora 2 took much longer than Veo 3.1 to generate.
Sora 2 takes ages.
Much longer than Veo 3.1.
When I tested a dragon egg prompt, Sora 2 created total trash.
There wasn’t much going on in the Sora 2 shot.
It was 10 seconds from Sora 2, which is good.
But it’s not interesting at all from Sora 2.
